The Delta Day Hospital Program
Learn about the Delta Day Hospital Program at Delta Specialty Hospital
Delta Specialty Hospital’s Behavioral Health programs include comprehensive behavioral health and medical assessments executed by an interdisciplinary treatment team. As our behavioral health units are located in a full-service hospital, we can address both medical and behavioral health problems. The Delta Day Hospital Program provides ambulatory, active treatment programs that offer therapeutically intense, coordinated, and structured clinical services.
The goal for our Delta Day Program is stabilization for individuals struggling with psychiatric disorders in an outpatient setting. The intent of this intensive level of care is to prevent hospitalization or to provide additional clinical support as clients transition to traditional outpatient services upon discharge from an inpatient stay. We offer two different levels of outpatient care, our Intensive Outpatient Program and our Partial Hospitalization Program.

Our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) is often used as a step down from our inpatient behavioral health programs or a step up from outpatient therapies.
This program offers our clients individual, group, and family therapy in a structured and supportive environment. Individuals in our PHP program attend the program Monday through Friday, from 9AM until 2:30PM and are able to return to a healthy home environment in the evenings.
We offer 20 hours of therapy per week for individuals in our Partial Hospitalization Program, which includes both breakfast and lunch.
Transportation for those living in Memphis is also available if needed.
