Delta’s Specialized Programs
Delta Specialty Hospital’s behavioral health programs include comprehensive behavioral health and medical care provided by a qualified interdisciplinary treatment team. Because our behavioral health units are located in a full-service hospital, we can address both medical and behavioral health concerns. Family members are included in many aspects of the patient’s treatment, and are encouraged to participate throughout the process.
Our Process for Determining a Program
The information we collect during the evaluation and time spent getting to know you and any others you may choose to include in your evaluation and treatment process is used as the basis of your individualized treatment plan. This integrated process for determining and prioritizing patient needs includes:
- Admission assessment
- Psychiatric evaluation, including comprehensive mental status examination
- Ongoing nursing assessments
- Medical history and physical examination
- Diagnostic testing and interpretation
- Psychosocial assessment
- Discharge planning
